A call to the Optimum service desk claimed that service for everyone will be restored as of 11:30 Sunday night. Some customers reported varying degrees of outages.

John Joy of AJ Cafe on Route 9D in Wappingers lost service for a solid two hours, meaning no football on the TV's or credit card usage for customers. Amy, also from Wappingers Falls was trying to hook up a Blue Ray player and couldn't figure out why they couldn't get it to work. She saw posts from people from Beacon to Hyde Park effected.

As of Sunday night, the reason for the outage is not known. Let us know if you were affected in the comments below.
