Soho House Plans New Hudson Valley Location in Rhinebeck for 2027

It looks like a creative hotspot is getting a new location in the Hudson Valley in 2027.

What is SoHo House?

Have you ever heard of Soho House? Personally, I've only heard it in conversations about socialites and influencers.

According to their website "Soho House is a club for creatives. We exist to provide a home for our members to come together and belong, wherever they are in the world."

There are over 40 Soho House locations globally. The New York City location opened their doors in 2003 and instantly became a hot spot.

Currently there are 2 Soho House's in New York and now a 3rd New York location is in the works. This time in the Hudson Valley.

Soho House To Open Hudson Valley Location in Rhinebeck

The Soho House website has a page dedicated to new SoHo House's in the works.

Soho House describes the Hudson Valley location as a 250-acre property of a former working farm in Rhinebeck. It will "blend the balance of nature and experience with restored 19th-century buildings anchored by a historic manor house."

They add:

 It will include bedrooms, various food and drink outlets, plus hiking, cycling, and spa and wellness offerings.

SecretNYC.com is reporting that "After years of delays, NYC's most exclusive social club is opening a sprawling countryside cabin resort next year."

They explain the Rhinebeck Town Planning Board recently gave the project the go-ahead.

Soho Farmhouse New York will be on the grounds of the historic Grasmere Estate. The Hudson Valley Soho House location will have a similar blueprint to Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire in England.

Secret NYC call it one of the Soho House "brand's most iconic properties known for its cozy cabins, countryside dining, and sprawling wellness spaces."

What to Expect at Soho Farmhouse Hudson Valley

In the Town of Rhinebeck Supervisors Newsletter, released in February 2026, officials detail what will be built on the Grasmere grounds for Soho House.

They write :

This plan is for a 250-person dining facility, spa, 17 eco cabins with 26 bedrooms, 4 new cabin buildings with 10 bedrooms and 12 bedrooms in the Manor –for a total of 48 bedrooms

Additionally, officials say while the Soho House project and others in the area may bring concern to locals they are asking the Town Board to "look at Tourism Capacity Study and Plan to make sure that this growth does not fundamentally change our small town feel and our way of life."
