An employee at a smoke and vape store activated a "panic alarm" after allegedly being robbed at gunpoint last week in Montgomery, NY.
Smoke & Vape Shop Robbed in Montgomery, New York
A scary situation unfolded in Montgomery, NY on July 17th when Orange County 911 received a panic alarm reporting that an area smoke and vape store had just been robbed. At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Town of Montgomery Police Department was dispatched to the Premium Smoke & Vape store located at 131 Hawkins Drive in Montgomery, NY.
Upon arrival, the owner of the store informed officers that he had been robbed by two black males. He told officers that one of the suspects displayed a handgun and proceeded to press it against his ribcage and demanded that he hand over money.
Robbery Suspects Flee Montgomery, NY Store
Montgomery Police Chief John Hank stated in a press release that the owner of the store complied with the suspects' demands, and after they grabbed the undisclosed amount of money, they fled the store on foot, heading towards Old Neelytown Rd.

Police believe that the suspects then jumped into a vehicle that was waiting for them. The vehicle is described as a white or silver four-door sedan.
