ShopRite Coupon Is a Scam

As we get closer to Christmas, saving a little money at your local grocery store sounds like a great idea.

Getting a coupon online for 40% off your grocery bill, depending on how much you spend could be huge. Maybe too good to be true.

If you are on Facebook, you have probably seen the coupon that is circulating that says "Get 40% off your bill" with this coupon at ShopRite.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the coupon is a fake.

Here is what ShopRite posted on their Facebook page...

And they also said on their website,

It has come to our attention that an invalid coupon offer is being shared via Facebook. This invalid offer states you can receive 40% off any order by sharing and liking. Please disregard this fraudulent offer as it will not be honored in your local store. We apologize for any confusion this may cause.
