Rare Supermoon To Rise Over the Hudson Valley This Month

The Full Moon for the month of August, also known as the Sturgeon Moon, will put on quite the show.

According to NASA, the August 19th, 2024 full moon is a Supermoon Blue Moon and will "appear full for three days, from Sunday morning through early Wednesday morning."

They go on to explain "full supermoons as they are the biggest and brightest full Moons of the year." The Daily Mail reports we'll be able to see the moon at it's brightest around 8:07 PM. That is of course if the clouds hold off.

Hudson Valley New York Camping Resorts

The Hudson Valley is a camping destination for so many people including those of us who live locally. It is a great way to have a summer vacation every weekend close to home. Many places offer a seasonal rate for you to save money on your stay. You pull the trailer in for the summer and park it for the season which is usually May to October. The resorts we found offer family fun amenities and a season full of exciting activities.
