Hope everyone had a great weekend! We lucked out with some great weather too. I was able to go to Bethel Woods last night and catch Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss & Union Station and special guest Kacey Musgraves. It was most definitely the highlight of my weekend.

Kacey Musgraves took the stage first. Her band was fantastic and they came with light up matching suits. I really enjoyed her set, she got us all warmed up for Willie, however I was a little surprised she didn't sing 'Blowing Smoke.' Come on, it would of been so fitting. Bethel Woods aka Woodstock. Willie Nelson..I think you see where I'm going with that one.

I went into the show, and I'm being honest, just looking forward to seeing Kacey Musgraves. What I didn't realize was that I was going to be exposed to a crazy amount of talented musicians covering all types of genres. Alison Krauss & Union Station were fantastic. It felt like one big, blue grass, jam session and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was also surprised to find out that Dan Tyminski of Union Station does the lead vocals for the popular top 40 song 'Hey Brother' by Avicii.

When Willie Nelson took the stage, Bethel came alive. I knew that I was in the presence of a legend and it gave me chills. Willie was incredible, so good that I didn't even think about taking pictures or videos. I just wanted to enjoy the music and I think that's what we're kind of missing out on these days.

It was a beautiful night for a concert last night! Did you go to the show? What'd you think?
