Remember those creepy clowns that terrorized the nation last year? Unfortunately, I do too. Hate to break it to you, but they’re back in the Hudson Valley.

I was driving on a road in Orange County when I passed a sewer with a bright red balloon strung to the grate. This is obviously in anticipation of It, the terrifying movie about a killer clown, being re-released tomorrow. It hasn’t even been a year since clowns stalked the sides of roads in the Valley.

There have been stories of them popping up in other states like Pennsylvania, but they haven’t hit New York until today. What makes it worse is that a school bus had just driven by it before I did. Who knew we would have to teach our kids about stranger and clown danger?

Clowns are scary enough one time. Two appearances mean it is time to move out of here.
