Cannabis Products Sold in New York Have Been Recalled
A recall has been issued for multiple cannabis products sold in New York after they tested positive for pesticides.
It's been almost four years since New York announced that the sale and use of recreational marijuana would be legal across the state. Since the announcement in 2021, New York has witnessed a massive boom in the number of dispensaries that users can visit to purchase their favorite products, with almost every county in the state having a least one legal place to buy.
Cannabis Recall in New York
Most of the legal dispensaries in New York are well stocked with a variety of cannabis products, including different strains of marijuana flower, bud, concentrates, edibles, pre-rolls, and more, but with more products, unfortunately, comes more problems.
The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has announced that they've issued a recall on multiple IndoGrow LLC products sold at various dispensaries across New York. The recall, which is being done as a precautionary measure, comes after the affected products were reportedly quarantined due to the absence of testing from a previously permitted laboratory, according to WTEN.

Soon after the quarantine, the OCM retested nine of the products, and all of them tested positive for pesticides that pose possible health and safety risks to users.
