A Poughkeepsie man is many mulitple felonies after a juvenile female runaway turned herself into police.

On Tuesday, a juvenile female turned herself into the City of Poughkeepsie Police as having run away from from a juvenile facility in Hawthorne, NY three months ago.

While being interviewed by detectives, the female disclosed  she had been the victim of a sexual assault and possible sex trafficking.

Thursday, a search warrant was executed at 11E Charles Street Housing, Jeremy T. Davis, a 24-year-old resident of that apartment was arrested and charged with Rape second-degree, Promoting Prostitution second-degree, both felonies.

Davis is being held pending arraignment.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding what happened to the juvenile female over the past three months.
