Poughkeepsie Italian Festival

If you like food, this event is going to be great.

We are so excited to be a part of this years Italian festival in Poughkeepsie. It all gets underway on Thursday, May 17 and runs through Sunday, May 20 at the Italian Center in downtown Poughkeepsie around noontime each day for lunch and the fun continues throughout the day with all kinds of family fun and food.

We got to talk with John from the Italian center on Wednesday and he let us know that we can expect some of the best food you have ever tasted this year. Everything from sausage and peppers to zeppole and everything in between.

Each day the festival will have all kinds of family fun including Bee Bee the clown with face painting, a gambling section and much more.

The festival does lunch each day starting at noon and the food and fun continue all day with some great bands taking the stage each night like on Thursday, Roberto Milanese & Angela Bruno on stage from 6-9PM. Friday Bill's Toupee from 7-9PM. Saturday, The Midnite Image Band from 7-10PM. and it wraps up on Sunday night with The Chain Gang from 6-9PM.
