Dutchess County Family Conjures Up Amazing Halloween Lawn Display

It's not fall until the Dellamura Family lights up their Halloween display in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Poughkeepsie, New York Family Brings Spooky Fun to Neighborhood

For the last few years, the Dellamura Family has been going all out for Halloween. They use every inch of their front yard at 45 Kerr Road in Poughkeepsie, New York, and transform it into a Halloween wonderland.

This year is no different.

We spoke with Kayla Dellamura who told us the family is excited for the 2024 season. Decorating began towards the end of August and as of this week, after some finishing touches, they're ready to go!

Dellamura explains that this year they have 4 spacious scenes to check out including some big additions.

"We added a new 12-13 ft giant, a new monster, a new bug cemetery piece, and an entire new area in addition to everything we had last year."

Along with the new additions they added a designated selfie photo op spot.

The display will be lit Monday through Sunday from 5:30 pm until 10 pm at 45 Kerr Road. They encourage visitors to get out and enjoy the display, but ask that visitors stay off the display.

Special Trick-or-Treating Night at Poughkeepsie, NY Halloween Display

Every year the Dellamura Family has designated one night, other than Halloween, where they give out candy to visitors.

This year they will be giving out candy on October 19th from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. The girls from the newly created DC Venom Travel Softball team will help hand out the candy.

Dellamura tells us that last year during the Halloween season, they noticed donations coming in. So this year, the donations will benefit the girls of the DC Venom Softball team.
