Poughkeepsie Galleria Evacuated
The Poughkeepsie Galleria was evacuated Saturday evening.
According to Hudson Valley Post correspondent Todd Bender, the mall was evacuated due to flooding from a frozen/broken sprinkler above the former site of The Melting Pot. Parts of the mall were flooded. Multiple local first responders are on the scene.
The fondue chain restaurant suddenly closed its doors in Poughkeepsie in late March.
Wallace Plass posted videos to Facebook that shows the scene from inside and outside the mall as shoppers evacuated.
