Popular Outlet Store Leaving Woodbury Common, Laying Off 40
A popular outlet store will be closing their doors at the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.
Many people visit the Orange County shopping mecca for a shot at owning high-end clothing at a fraction of the cost. Sadly, one very popular store that offers deep discounts on famous designers will be closing their doors.this summer.
It's rare to see name brand clothing and accessories from big designers like Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Gucci, Manolo Blahnik, Valentino, Michael Kors and others all under one roof, but that's what Neiman Marcus Last Call has been offering their customers at the Woodbury Common location. Those discounts will sadly end in July when the store sells their last designer dress.
In September Fortune reported that Neiman Marcus would be closing 10 of its 38 Last Call stores across the country. The Woodbury Common location wasn't listed at that time, but now an official notice has been filed with the NY Department of Labor announcing that 40 workers will be laid off when the Monroe Woodbury location closes on July 27.
According to the notice, the store is closing due to economic reasons.
