The Hudson Valley welcomes back a legendary store for a limited time.

Columbia Costume and Beauty Supply is back open at least for now, according to HVNN.

Felicita Chipak, a 30-year-old Port Ewen resident, has decided to reopen Columbia Costume and Beauty Supply for a two-month inventory liquidation sale that starts this week.

The store is located at 66 North Front Street in Uptown Kingston and former owner Laura Spaey closed down the legendary store back on New Year's Eve 2016.

When the store closed its doors for good it was still packed with all kinds of costumes, wigs and more. So Chipak worked out an agreement with Spaey and will sell off the remaining inventory and receive 10 percent of sales for her work.

Once all the merchandise is sold, Spaey has decided to sell to sell the 7,300-square-foot building.

Columbia’s liquidation sale will happen every weekend through April 30.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
