
Physical Therapist Working in Poughkeepsie Allegedly Abused a Child
A Fishkill man has been arrested after police say he allegedly abused a child while working at a physical therapy office in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Fishkill Man Allegedly Touched Minor at a Business in Poughkeepsie, NY
According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department (CPPD), a Fishkill, NY man has been arrested after detectives say he inappropriately touched a child under the age of 17 while working at Hudson Point Physical Therapy in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Police issued a press release on Wednesday stating that the CPPD Detective Bureau had begun an investigation, alongside the Child Advocacy Center of Dutchess County, into alleged inappropriate touching of a minor.
Police investigate Poughkeepsie Physical Therapist
Police stated they began their investigation after they received reports that an employee working at Hudson Point Physical Therapy, located at 57 Cannon Street in the city of Poughkeepsie, had inappropriately touched a minor.
Following the investigation, police arrested a Fishkill man and charged him with two misdemeanors, including one count of "Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less Than 17" and one count of "Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree".
Suspect Arraigned in Poughkeepsie
The suspect, who was not identified by name, was arrested and later arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court. He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or a $10,000 bond.

CPPD explained that they aren't releasing the suspect's name at this time due to the nature of the charges, which are misdemeanors.
