It's tough being isolated and in quarantine alone. That's why an organization is making it a little more enjoyable with a visit from some furry friends.

Dutchess County Government took to Facebook to share that Pets Together, an Animal Farm Foundation program (which is a national non-profit), will be hosting Pets Together.

Pets Together is a virtual program that will bring dogs, cats, goats, horses and "other critters" to your home through video conference apps.

On the Pets Together website they say:

Social isolation and loneliness are critical public health threats, especially for older adults and those who live in group settings. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, that threat is increasing. As we all stay home to protect one another from the virus, we must also protect each other from these public health risks.
