Pet owners and animal lovers may want to keep their schedules open on November 3rd.

Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro is taking the pets and livestock of the Hudson Valley into consideration. In a press release Molinaro stated "What would happen to your pets in the event of a disaster? What about animals on the many farms in the area? These are questions owners of pets and livestock should consider when building their own personal emergency plans.” The Medical Reserve Corp of Dutchess County is offering a Pet Preparedness and First Aid program on November 3rd at 7pm in Poughkeepsie at the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response ( 392 Creek Road).
