A new Pizza Hut location is coming to New York, with a twist.

At one point in time, Pizza Hut was the place to be, especially here in the Hudson Valley. There was the iconic red roof planted on every corner in every county in the region.

There are still some Pizza Hut locations up and running in the region, including a Pizza Hut in Newburgh, Middletown, Mohegan Lake, Nanuet and Scarsdale.
New Pizza Hut Location Coming to New York With a Twist
Did you know there are still over 6,000 Pizza Hut restaurants in the U.S.? With that being said, there is a new New York Pizza Hut location in the works.
Pizza Hut is known for their personal pan pizzas and now they'll be known for their Personal Pan Pizza Hut.
The single person Personal Pan Pizza Hut location will open in at 50th and Center Boulevard in Astoria, Queens.
But there's a catch: It's only open for 2 days AND reservations are needed.
You can start making your reservations now and the Personal Pan Pizza Hut will open on October 22nd from 3 pm to 5 pm and October 23rd from 12 pm until 7 pm. Reservations can be made at Exploretock.com
NBC News NY reports that each person who makes a reservation will customize their own pizza and choose from the new toppings that Pizza Hut introduced over the summer including: Pesto Swirl, Chicken Sausage, Fresh Diced Garlic and Caramelized Onion.
Pizza Hut told NBC that this Personal Pan booth is the "first and smallest reservation-only, dine-in, personalized restaurant experience it has created." They did it all to celebrate National Pizza Month.

We may not have a many Pizza Hut locations left in the region, but we are home to some of the best and oldest pizzerias in the state.
Did you know Aloy's in Poughkeepsie is one of the oldest pizzerias in America?! Aloy's Italian Restaurant on Garden Street opened for the first time in 1929 and is still in business with many locals calling it their favorite pizza in the area.
