Original Story

A popular Hudson Valley daycare center announced that it will be closing its doors for good this Friday.

Parents are working hard to find new arrangements for their children after a local daycare has announced they will be shutting their doors by the end of the week. With school out, summer months are a difficult time for working parents to find someone to care for their kids. Things just got even harder for those parents whose children attend a Wappingers Falls daycare.

The Children's Corner Learning Center in the Imperial Plaza says that their location will permanently close on Friday. Other Children's Corner locations, however, are not affected by the closing. As of now it does not look like another operator will be coming in to take over the daycare, so arrangements will need be made to relocate all of the children currently enrolled at the Wappingers site.

The Children's Corner was advertising summer camp for school aged children, as well as services for children from six weeks of age. The closest Children's Corner Learning Center is now located in Vails Gate.
