Orange County Welcomes a 1,000 Foot Water Slide

This really cool event is happening in Goshen.

If your looking for something to do this summer mark the date August 4th and get ready to slip in slide through Goshen as Slide the City comes to our area.

Slide the City is a family fun day in the sun that features a record breaking 1,000 foot water slide that's set up to run through Goshen, according to their Facebook page.

This is a ticketed event and you can get tickets on their Facebook page and they say that there will be live music, food, drinks, water, and of course the biggest padded slip and slide ever to hit asphalt.

Anybody that wants to slide the slide has to be at least 5 years old and over 46 inches tall and if you plan on going, here are some of the things they suggest that you bring:

A Smile.
Sunscreen.
An appropriate Swim Suit.
Shoes as the pavement will most likely be hot and you'll be walking.
Your friends.
Debit or Credit Card or Cash.
