Orange County Sheriff Receives Veteran Employer Award

According to a press released from the Orange County Sheriffs Office has awarded a local officer with the Outstanding Veteran Employer Award. On February 23rd Orange County Sheriff Carl E. Dubois was presented with the Vet Jobs Outstanding Veteran Employer Award. Vet Jobs is the leading military job board that makes transitioning veterans to civilian jobs. The award recognizes companies who dedicate their time to training veterans and family members of veterans for new jobs.
To be nominated for a Outstanding Veteran Employer Award one must be nominated by a veterans employee or a veteran whose spouse is an employee at the company. In the case of Orange County Sheriff Dubois, he was nominated by Corrections Officer Michael Papp. Papp has worked for the Orange County Sheriffs Department since 2006 and has served two deployments since then.
