The holiday season in the Hudson Valley just got a little bit brighter.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, many holiday light displays have been canceled around the Hudson Valley. However, some are finding new life with the new trend that seems to be drive-through displays.

The Orange County Fair announced on Monday, November 9th, they will be hosting The Holiday Light Spectacular at the Orange County Fairgrounds. According to the Facebook post, the Orange County Fairgrounds will have select dates from November 27th to January 3rd where you can pack up your car and enjoy "the spectacularly lit fairgrounds" along with a light show and tasty treats from their fair food vendors.

Tickets are on sale now for just $20 a carload. Each carload is good for up to 8 people. If you have a larger vehicle, 9' or over the Fairgrounds ask you call their customer service line at 757-513-0648. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now. 

The Holiday Light Spectacular at the Orange County Fairgrounds is located at 100 Carpenter Avenue in Middletown. For more details about how you can get tickets, visit OrangeCountyFair.com.

Other holiday light displays this year include the return of A Frosty Fest in Ulster Park which kicks off on November 27th. Hyde Park Recreations Merry and Bright Holiday Driving Tour will be lighting up on December 6th and running until the 20th of December.
