Move Over Laws in New York State
Moments like these serve as a great reminder of the importance of the Move Over Law in New York.

The Move Over Law was implemented back in 2010 to "prevent collisions with emergency vehicles that were stopped on the roadway."
Over the years the Move Over Law has expanded to also cover hazard vehicles, highway worker vehicles, and tow trucks. The most recent move over law expansion covers all vehicles stopped on roadways.
