Sensational November Events in the Hudson Valley
Welcome to November we are about to close out 2022 a year when we have been able to get back to events and family. So many wonderful things returned this year and November is full of great events to enjoy all over the Hudson Valley.
We are going to keep our eyes peeled all month for local events you can enjoy and that might even help get you caught up around the house in time for the holidays. Here is what we have discovered so far.
Hudson Valley Public Events in November
November 19th: Third Annual Fall Farmers Craft Fair to be held at W&K Split Rail Nursery and Tree Farm located at 346 Mahoney Road in Milton, New York. Enjoy a great event that will kick off your holiday season with crafts and more. Craft Fair starts at 9:30 AM.
November 20th: Turkey Tales at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum at 120 Muser Drive in Cornwall. The event begins at 5 PM. You do need to get tickets and pre-registration is required. You can kick off your holiday by learning more about wild turkeys, their calls, and their unique adaptations. Enjoy a guided walk that hopefully includes spotting a few on your journey.
November 24th: 10th Annual Turkey Trot held by the Junior League of Kingston at Dietz Stadium. The fun kicks off at 8 AM. There is a 5K and a 2-mile Fun Run / Walk both of which start at Dietz Stadium and end at Forsyth Park. It is rain or shine. Registration is at 8 AM and the race is underway by 9 AM. There are prizes for First thru third place.
November 25: The Georgia 5 Black Friday 80's Dance Party at the Tin Barn Brewing in Sugar Loaf from 6 PM to 9 PM. Billed as the gnarliest Black Friday party in town with The Georgia 5 at Sugar Loaf’s hottest venue, Tin Barn Brewing. There will be cold honey beer canned right on the premises, delicious brick oven pizza, and a live '80s dance party.
November 25 - 27th: HV Art Market with Hudson Valley Artisan Market Place to be held at Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie From 10 AM to 5 PM Friday and Saturday. Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. This is a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family. It has become a tradition in the Hudson Valley, plus you can start your holiday shopping with Hudson Valley Artisans. The market will feature about 40 vendors, including artists, makers, and gourmet food.
November 25th thru December 25th: The Wonderland of Lights at the Dutchess County Fair Grounds in Rhinebeck, New York. It starts each night at 5:30 PM. This is a ticketed event. Enjoy dozens of dazzling displays that light and dance in the night sky.
Dirt Track Racing in the Hudson Valley at Accord Speedway
November 26th: The Gobbler at Accord Speedway in Accord New York. The Saturday after Thanksgiving will be a family fun day of dirt track racing in Accord. Pits open at 10:30 AM, Spectator gate opens at 12 Noon and hot laps are underway by 1 PM
November 26th: Tree Lighting with Santa at Pine Bush Volunteer Ambulance Corp at 4 PM. You are invited to join the Pine Bush Lions Club for the annual tree lighting at the PBAVAC. There will be cocoa and Cookies. Santa will be stopping by and they are collecting pajamas of all sizes for foster children.
November 26th and 27th: Holiday Market at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Over 70 craft, artisan, and specialty food vendors are expected for this exciting event that will make a perfect place to holiday shop. Walk the grounds at Bethel Woods and enjoy being able to have access to one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, provisions, and more!
November 27: Holiday Pop-Up Shop at Mill Creek Caterers from 11 AM to 4 PM. Vendors of all kinds will be on hand to get you ready for Christmas. On-site raffles will benefit Safe Haven Animal Shelter and Wildlife Center. Vendor space is available.
November 27th: It's a Repair Cafe at the Gardiner Library in Gardiner New York from 1 PM to 4 PM. As they like to say in the repair cafe world, don't toss it fix it. This event is free to the community. Bring your broken item and see if it can be fixed. The Repairs Coaches can help with small appliances, lamps, clothing, frames, chairs, and more.
