The New York State Police are asking for the Hudson Valley's help with a cold case.

In a press release, the New York State Police announced that they are still looking into a 10-year-old homicide that took place in Greene County.

Back on November 4, 2007, Greene County Police reached out to the State Police in Catskill regarding a possible deceased female body located at 13401 State Route 21A  in Prattsville.

Later, Troopers identified the female as Linda Holgerson. It was learned that the Kingston Police Department had been investigating Holgerson's disappearance. She was last seen at 4:15PM on October 19, 2007, getting into a "white or light colored minivan on Van Dusen Street, facing Broadway, near the Bank of America."

Holgerson was mentally handicap and did not have any known enemies. Friends also say that she would have never gotten into a "vehicle with anyone she did not know."

If you or someone you know has any information regarding Linda Holgerson, police ask you contact Troop F Major Crimes at 845-344-5300.
