New York DMV Launches New User Friendly Website
The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has announced the launch of a new and improved website designed to be more user-friendly regarding customer service.
If you've ever had to deal with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV) website in the past you are well aware that oftentimes it wasn't the easiest website to find what you were looking for and sometimes the customer service would be what some would call "lacking".
New York DMV Launches New Website
Hoping to change all of that the NYSDMV has announced the launch of a redesigned website is expected to include upgrades that will allow to site to be more user-friendly, it will have a more intuitive interface with streamlined content and will be easier to navigate to several services provided by the department according to Rochester First. Mark Schroeder, the DMV Commissioner had this to say about the redesign,
"We are keenly aware that most New Yorkers interact with DMV, and the best way for us to connect easily is through our website. We revamped the look and feel of our website and upgraded to the latest version of the web platform to make sure our site is stable and easy to use. This update is just one part of the major transformation we are undergoing here at DMV, all with the ultimate goal of helping our valued customers get their business done as quickly and easily as possible."

DMV Advancing With Technology
The website redesign is part of a major four-year project that DMV recently started to improve customer service and the efficiency of critical services. They have also begun to upgrade the department's computer systems which some say are over 50 years old.
