New Paltz Open Studio Tour is This Weekend

Attention Art lovers this weekend your can take the New Paltz Open Studio Tour. Seventeen Artists and three Galleries will host local art lovers in their spaces starting this Friday with a Preview Party at the Roost Studios Gallery on Main Street in New Paltz. The Studio Tours will run Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

Mixed media artists, Oil painters, water colorists and sculptors representing some of the most talented artists in New Paltz will open their studios to the public this weekend. Visitors will enjoy seeing where the art is created. Joining an artist in their studio is a great way to understand what the artists in convening in their work and it gives you a chance to interact with the creator of the art. Of course this is also a great way to start or add to your collection. Buying a piece of art directing from the artists is rewarding for both artist and collector. Even if you are not ready to buy a piece of art this tour is a great way to celebrate the talents of our local artist. They are looking forward to you stopping by the studio.
