61 New Drive-Thru Coffee Locations Coming Soon Across New York

An Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee chain has announced major expansion plans in New York including adding a location in the Hudson Valley.

If you love coffee we have some great news!! A new coffee option will soon be available across New York as the folks at 7 Brew Coffee are planning to open 61 new locations in upstate New York in the next 5 to 6 years according to WTEN.

7 Brew Opening New Locations in New York

7 Brew might not be a coffee name many in the Hudson Valley are familiar with today, but before long they should have fans all across New York as the chain has announced plans to add 61 locations to its growing list of locations across the country. 7 Brew had 216 locations open across the country at the end of 2023 and that number will rise significantly in the next 5+ years according to Nick Vidal, the Director of Operations for the 7 Brew New York markets who recently said,

"Our team is bringing 61 locations to upstate New York over the next five to six years. Our territory will cover Poughkeepsie, Queensbury, Syracuse, Rochester, and many of the middle markets in between, including our newest location in New Hartford and another location coming soon to Cortland."

 

What is 7 Brew?

7 Brew Coffee locations only serve beverages at each of their drive-thru locations, with no food, which makes wait times at the drive-thru shorter than many other places. That was the company's plan from the start according to its website, "7 Brew was born from a desire to change drive-thru coffee into a fun, mind-blowing experience for everyone. We dreamed of serving premium coffee in record time and making new friends while we’re at it." Their menu includes various flavors of coffee, tea, smoothies, shakes, energy drinks, and hot chocolate.

We did email 7 Brew to see if they could tell us where or when we could expect to see a Poughkeepsie area location(s), but haven't heard back yet. When we do we will update this article.

New Coffee Option in Upstate New York

7 Brew currently has three drive-thru locations open across New York including shops in Johnstown, New Hartford, and Vestal, NY according to its website. The Johnstown location (a former Pizza Hut) was 7 Brew's first Capital Region location to open in 2023. It will soon be joined by shop #2 as they are preparing to open a new shop at 1893 Central Avenue in Colonie, NY. The new shop is expected to open on September 9th.
