No matter what craft you love, or what craft you would love to learn about, you can find a group, blog, website, or space that has what you're looking for. You can learn the basics or connect with those who are experts in their field. We all have our favorite blogs and sites, here's just a few of mine. This isn't in any particular order, these are just sites and spaces that I head to for inspiration, smiles, classes, and even friendship.

Meet Nixie Sparrow. This is a Hudson Valley blog and a cool DIY space on Main Street in Beacon, created by Megan and Sarah. I love their spirit. I love the fact that just when you think doing things by hand is out of style, they show that it is still very much alive and very cool. The photographs alone make you want to be at every single workshop and event.

Kelly Rae Roberts is an artist and creator that I first learned about in the pages of Quilting Arts magazine. Her work is uplifting and heartfelt. I follow her on Facebook, Instagram, as well as her blog. If I'm having a stuck-in-a-rut kind of day, she somehow manages to change that and makes me feel that I can do whatever I set my mind to.

Kathy Cano-Murillo,aka La Crafty Chica is a Fun (yes the capital F is intentional) talented, and inspiring artist. I follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and I'm not sure that she ever sleeps. She always seems to be trying something new, expressing herself, writing books, giving talks, or teaching. She's one of those artists that can brighten my day by simply reading and seeing what she's been up to.

I bought one of Traci Bautista's books at a local arts and crafts store and loved it.  Her printmaking, design, and journaling are just so cool. I loved them so much that when Strathmore Paper offered Traci's printmaking as one of their free on-line workshops, I couldn't sign up fast enough. In fact, one of her workshops is on this year's list.

Which crafting blogs do you follow? Is there a group that you belong to here in the Hudson Valley? Let me know, I'd love to find more places to be able to play and create.
