Music in the Parks is the Place to be This Week

The weather forecast for Wednesday is looking very nice, temperatures around 80 with low humidity. Perfect weather to gather your friends and family and head to Mills Mansion in Staatsburg for this week's free Music in the Parks.

Performing will be the Stars Jazz Band. They're pretty cool and hip. See for yourself.

Every Wednesday evening all summer long. local artists and musicians are featured as part of Music in the Parks held at either the Vanderbilt National Historic Site or at the Staatsburg Historic Site (formerly known as Mills Mansion).

Presenting these shows is the Town of Hyde Park in conjunction with The National Parks Service, NY State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, Hyde Park Lions Club, Hyde Park Knights of Columbus, Hyde Park Rotary, and the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce have put together another great schedule for this summer.

Wednesday, August 2; 6:30 pm: Cross Cultural Connection at Vanderbilt in Hyde Park.

Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 pm: Four Guys in Disguise at Mills in Staatsburgh.

Wednesday, August 16 (with August 17 as a rain date); 6:30 pm: West Point Military Academy Band at Vanderbilt in Hyde Park.

Throughout the summer, in case of rain call 229-8086 after 4:00 p.m. to check rain location.
