Stewart's Says Goodbye to Their Mountain Brew
2020 was a difficult year for everyone when it came to the COVID 19 shutdown. Then, things took an even more depressing turn when Stewart's Shops said goodbye to their Mountain Brew beer.
While no reasoning was given to the discontinuation of Mountain Brew, a press release at the time explained Mountain Brew had been a part of the Stewart's family for over 10 years.
They added that it was a "devastating blow" but that Mountain Brew would "always hold a special place" in their hearts.
For the last 5 years fans of the Stewart's brew have been waiting patiently for a return. Stewart's Shops have been listening to your wishes.
Mountain Brew Returns in 2025 to Select Stewart's Shops
Stewart's Shops President Gary Dake took to X back in December of 2024, right before Christmas, to give Stewart's fans a little gift.
Dake announced that Mountain Brew would return in February of 2025 in 19.2oz cans.
Cheers to that!
Social media is buzzing as photos and videos of the new and improved Mountain Brew have been making the rounds.
Has Stewart's Shops Already Released Mountain Brew In Certain Locations?
There's a good chance I wasn't paying attention to the beer section the last time I was in a Stewart's Shop last week, but I have yet to see Mountain Brew in a Hudson Valley Stewart's location.
However, there have been some Mountain Brew sightings in the Capital region. According to Two Buttons Deep, Stewart's Mountain Brew will be brewed at Paradox Brewery in North Hudson and will be available in select Stewart's locations starting in February.
Next time you're in your local Stewart's take a peek in the beer cave and lets us know if Mountain Brew is back in your hometown.
