A Momma Sasquatch Allegedly Caught on Camera in Beacon, New York

Momma Sasquatch Caught on Camera in Beacon?

As a Bigfoot believer, I follow all the sasquatch themed accounts on social media. Over the weekend the following video caught my eye as the poster explained it was captured in Dutchess County:

@thesquatchisreal account on Instagram has over 53,000 followers and posts video and photo evidence of Bigfoot from all over the world.

However, the poster seems to be surprised that Bigfoot could be found in New York State.

They write in the caption:

It’s crazy to some that there can be legitimate Sasquatch sightings that come out of NYS.

The poster adds that New York has a "has a lot to offer in terms of forestry and potential Bigfoot habitat" and go on to claim this Momma Bigfoot was captured on trail cam in Beacon back in 2022.

I also spotted Bigfoot in Beacon in 2022, but the setting was a bit different and is leaving me a bit confused.

At one point in time, Beacon was home to a hidden Bigfoot museum.  In 2022, I took a trip to the KuBe Art Center at the old Beacon High School.

A local artist named Ron English created an exhibit that explored local Bigfoot lore.  There were photos and lifelike Bigfoot statues throughout the exhibit, take a look below:

I think the photos of the "Momma Bigfoot" I took at the KuBe Center and the alleged photos caught on trail cam, might be the same. But I'll let you be the judge.

Bigfoot's Hudson Valley History

The Instagram poster seems to think that seeing Bigfoot in New York State is unheard of. However, those of us in the Hudson Valley know just how deep those legends run.

Gayle J Beatty, lead investigator for the Bigfoot Researchers of The Hudson Valley, has been hot on the trail of Bigfoot in the region. For years, she's been our go-to source for Bigfoot sightings.

Throughout the years Bigfoot has been spotted across Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam and Sullivan Counties.

Stories include a sighting in Hyde Park while a resident was gardening to a farmer noticing the hair on her horses were mysteriously braided after hearing strange noises at night in Orange County.
