Mirbeau Inn & Spa Set to Open 1st Beacon, NY Location

In 2022 news broke that Beacon, New York would be home to a luxury spa and wellness facility.

Mirbeau Inn & Spa announced they would be opening their first location in Beacon, marking their 2nd location in Dutchess County.

The new Beacon location can be found on the grounds of the historic Howland Estate, also known as Tioronda, a stones throw from the trailhead at Mount Beacon on 9D.

In a press release about the opening of the new spa Mirbeau writes:

Uninhabited for over 20 years, it is now time for Mirbeau, a celebrated hospitality and wellness brand, to bring its unique approach to this historic use to the property; reimagining it in a modern, elegant form. 

The Hudson Valley has been patiently waiting for the newest Mirbeau location to open their doors and it's just about time.

Finishing Touches Added, As Mirbeau Beacon Gets Ready for Grand Opening

According to the Mirbeau Beacon website their doors will officially be open for service on May 8th, 2026 (just in time for Mother's Day, a perfect gift for Mom if you ask me).

Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley was invited to tour the spa before their grand opening.

We toured the grounds and took a peak into some of the 72 guest rooms that will have you feeling like your relaxing in a cottage in the French countryside.

This gorgeous bathroom is just one of the many rooms with an incredible view. If you look closely out the window you can see Mount Beacon.

The Mirbeau team made sure to keep some of the original history intact on the grounds including the beautiful organ, which dates back to the Howland Estate:

The brick around the building and wood in many of the rooms was restored to its original color, bringing Mirbeau to life.

It's truly incredible how Mirbeau was able to incorporate the original history of the building into a breathtaking modern-day spa and wellness center.
