Miranda Lambert's week is off to a memorable start. The singer shared a funny photo on Instagram that shows her stuck in an elevator with several others ahead of her CMT Music Awards rehearsal.

"Well folks, CMA Week is starting off right... stuck in the elevator at @CMT awards rehearsal," she wrote Tuesday morning (June 6). But rest assured, she's safe — and armed with the essentials.

"Don't worry I have airplane bottles of Tito's in my purse for emergencies," Lambert adds. "What is it about award shows? Always an adventure..." Despite being trapped in an elevator with seven other people, Lambert made the most of it, posing for a selfie.

She is one of many country artists set to take the stage Wednesday night (June 7) during the CMT Awards, which will be hosted by Nashville’s Charles Esten. Additionally, Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Brett YoungBrothers Osborne with Peter Frampton, Chris Lane, Florida Georgia Line with the Chainsmokers, Jason Aldean with Darius Rucker, Charles Kelley and Derek Trucks, Jon Pardi, Keith Urban with Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum with Earth, Wind & Fire, Lauren Alaina, Luke Bryan with Jason Derulo, Midland,
and Thomas Rhett will also be performing.

Lambert's week is a busy one, as she will be on hand at CMA Fest, too, with her MuttNation Foundation to host several events, including the inaugural MuttNation March on June 8. The singer and her rescue dogs will march from Nissan Stadium over the Nashville Pedestrian Bridge and to downtown Nashville.

“So many shelter pets need a home, so we are going to march to raise awareness,” Lambert says in a press release. "Country music has the best fans in the world and together we can help so many animals find amazing homes."
