Oh my goodness. I'm still trying to get over how amazing last night was. Miranda Lambert kicked off the Bethel Woods concert season with the Keeper of The Flame Tour. And it was on fire.

I'm a huge Miranda Lambert fan. It's on my bucket list to drink a beer with her.

Anyway, CJ had said when he saw her a couple of years ago she wasn't interacting with the audience and it was just an "ok" performance. This being my first time seeing Miranda, I went in with an open mind and took what CJ said with a grain of salt. (She could have had a bad day. We've all been there.)

This was my immediate reaction after the show:

Before we get to Miranda, I have to give it up for The Brothers Osbourne and Kip Moore. It took a while for the crowd to get in and settled, but they brought it. I have a new appreciation for Kip Moore. He was fun, he interacted with the audience and I mean literally ran through the audience to the lawn. I will definitely be listening to more Kip Moore in the future and looking at more of his sleeveless t-shirt pictures. There was some song about a "backseat" that got me all flustered. Ahem, moving on.

Miranda came out and kicked things off with "Fastest Girl in Town" and from there I knew we were in good hands. She talked to the audience--expletives and all. (In reference to her pink cowbell she said, "Y'all see this SH**?!")

I will be 100% honest with you, I cried when she sang "Over You." It mostly had to do with the story she told before hand, about a woman who she met in a meet and greet before the show, but the emotion she put into the performance tipped me over the edge. Cue the water works.

"Little Red Wagon" was perfect and way better than CJ and I ever could do.

And it took me until last night to realize how many hits Miranda has. Song after song was a party and I couldn't have been happier.

Were you at Bethel Woods last night? How'd you like the show? Let us know on Facebook and if you have any pictures, feel free to share.
