Mid-Hudson Valley Likely to Miss Significant Snowfall
If you were hoping for a massive snow dump on the Hudson Valley with this weekend, it's looking increasingly likely you'll be disappointed.
The National Weather Service predicts Dutchess and Ulster counties will see 1 of snow or less from Saturday morning through Sunday night.
Putnam and Orange will see more snowfall: the northern parts of those counties are expected to receive 2 to 3 inches. The southern edge of Putnam and the center and southern portion of Orange could see up 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm track is expected to batter the mid-Atlantic. Parts of Maryland and Washington, D.C. are under a blizzard warning and up to 30 inches of snow could bury those areas.
Meanwhile, New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York are under a blizzard watch and could see accumulations of up to 14 inches.
The Hudson Valley will see snowfall late Saturday morning through Saturday night.
