Be There When Raptor Fly Into Poughkeepsie New York
If you are in search of something different to do with the kids this summer you may want to look into things that are planned for various places around the Hudson Valley. Some things to do aren't always top of mind or obvious.
The Trailside Museums and Zoo at Bear Mountain can be fun and full of excitement for kids. The Mohonk Preserve in Ulster County New York also offers one-of-a-kind experiences for people of all ages. Another place to consider is on the Waterfront in the City of Poughkeepsie, The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum.
Birds of Prey at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum in Poughkeepsie New York
All of these places offer programs throughout the summer and are fun for all ages. As a matter of fact later this month on July 22nd, the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum is hosting a Birds of Prey Event.
Join the fun on Saturday, July 22nd starting at 2:30 PM when the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum will partner with Ellen Kalish from the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center for Birds of Prey, two one-hour programs at the pavilion at the museum. This is your opportunity to meet various raptors and learn about them and why they are important to the Hudson Valley. At the conclusion of each program, you’ll have the chance to get an up-close look at these magnificent birds of prey.
