Meet Granger Smith

His name is Granger Smith and his new single Backroad Song is climbing the country single chart. So who is Granger Smith? He is a life long Texan born in Dallas who took an interest in music at the age of 14 and taught himself to play guitar. He also earned a Bachelors degree from Texas A & M.

Granger Smith got his music career started early. He signed a song writing contract at the age of nineteen and moved to Nashville. To date has released seven studio albums, one live album and one EP. His current EP titled 4 x 4 is where you can find Backroad Song. Granger shared his "road to music" in a story recently with Taste of Country telling them how he owes his success to his fans. He has played for our troops over seas and even entertained at the White House. Granger is no stranger to the road.

He currently lives back in Texas with his wife of five years, Amber who he married in February of 2010. They have 2 children their daughter London and son Lincoln.
