Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a Hudson Valley JCPenney with a screwdriver. 

On Thursday at approximately 3:42 pm, the Town of Wallkill Police responded to a report of a robbery at JCPenney, at 1 Galleria Drive.

According to the victim, a few minutes prior, she was approached by a male who threatened her with a screwdriver before removing currency from one of the store's cash registers.

The suspect then fled from the store.

The suspect is described as male, white, 6'0" tall, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap.
