It's a wish that most kids have at some point in their childhood, and it's now a wish come true for two kids from Greene County.

According to WNYT, a Make-A-Wish has been granted to Callen, 5, and Charlotte, 2, who are now enjoying Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The kids left Greene County on Monday, with a sendoff to the airport like no other. It included local police cars, firetrucks and a limo. Even Santa made a special appearance.

Both kids are battling a life-threatening illness called interstitial lung disease. They are both on oxygen 24 hours a day, every day and Charlotte has a feeding tube and cannot drink liquids.

The Make-A-Wish kids will be in Orlando, Florida for about a week all thanks to the folks at Make-A-Wish, who say wishes make life better for kids with life-threatening medical conditions.

The Town of Cairo Police Department had some great pictures of the kids sendoff on their Facebook page.
