Luke Bryan Throwing Free Block Party for Grand Opening of New Bar
Luke Bryan's Nashville bar is open, and he's ready to celebrate. The superstar is hosting the ultimate block party on Monday (Sept. 10) in Nashville to mark the grand opening of his new restaurant and bar, Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink.
Bryan will perform a free concert for fans outside the new venue, and he has called on his friends, up-and-coming acts Jon Langston, Chelsea Field and DJ Rock, to help.
"I’ve been looking forward to this for some time. Couldn’t think of a better way to kick this place off than to have a big party right on the streets of Broadway!" the "Move" singer shares in a press release.
Proof Luke Bryan Is the Best Person to Hang Out With:
The six-floor event space actually opened its doors July, offering the city's only rooftop sushi bar. Not a raw fish person? No biggie — Bryan's bar is actually eight bars, four stages and two restaurants. Chef Tomasz Wosiak helms the kitchen, dishing up anything from salads to Luke's Elk Burger and hot chicken sushi.
The "32 Bridge" in the name of the star's venue is reference to the name of the Route 32 Bridge that connects the two counties in Georgia where Bryan grew up.
“When I first moved to Nashville I played several of the bars on the iconic Broadway Street. I never would have dreamt that I would one day be a part of a place that could offer the same dream to others," Bryan says about the new venture. "Because of Music City and the fans all across the country, the reality of this amazing venue has become possible.”
The block party begins at 6:30PM locally, outside of Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink at 301 Broadway. In the weeks following the grand opening, Bryan and friends will head out on the tenth annual Farm Tour. Langston and DJ Rock join Chase Rice and hit songwriting trio the Peach Pickers as opening acts on a trek that launches on Sept. 27 in Ohio.
