Lock Your Doors, Wappingers Falls

A scary moment in the Village of Wappingers Falls today, as residents are being advised of a reported attempted residential burglary. 

The Village of Wappingers Falls Police Department is reminding all residents to make sure they lock the doors to their homes and set their home alarm systems if equipped. On Friday, there was a reported attempted residential burglary around the area of Park Street and North Mesier in the Village.

Forced entry was attempted by an unknown person from the rear back sliding door of the home. Police are urging people to remember to make sure all doors and windows to your home are locked and that you set your home alarm is one is equipped.
