Local Organization Seeks Volunteers and Donations This Spring
As the Beatles once said, “I get by with a little help from my friends.” This song lyric still lives on in my head today, even more so in 2021. I am a firm believer of being kind, spreading love and helping one another out. After 2020, it only seems right if we all came together to make this year and the future years ahead the best ones yet.
A local organization is looking for volunteers and donations. ReStore of Habitat Duchess sells donated items such as appliances, materials, furniture and more. The money from what is sold then goes towards Habitat’s main goal and mission to end poverty and poverty housing for good.
Whether your part may be in donating, buying merchandise to help generate money or to volunteer, every little bit gets noticed and helps.
There is going to be a county wide donation day on April 24,2021. Upon their 5 locations, the time will be the same of 9am-3pm.
