Line Dancing Coming to Wappingers Falls, New York Park
A day of line dancing, live music, food, and fireworks is coming to one of Dutchess County's best parks.
If you haven't noticed over the last few years, line dancing has become extremely popular in the Hudson Valley, and most times line dancing nights are at some of the Hudson Valley's best indoor bars and restaurants. Depending on where you live, there is almost an event happening in the area every night of the week, Tuesdays at Billy Joe's Ribworks in Newburgh, NY, Thursdays at Cue & Brew in Poughkeepsie, NY, and many more.
Line dancing nights are always a good time but what about trying line dancing outside on a beautiful fall afternoon at one of Dutchess County's beautiful parks?
Line Dancing in Wappingers Falls, New York
The Dutchess County Parks Department (DCPD) and Hudson Valleys New Country, 97.7/97.3/105.5 The Wolf are happy to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, we are bringing Boots by the Bandshell back to Wappingers Falls. It's set for Saturday, October 14th near the bandshell pavilion at Bowdoin Park, located at 85 Sheafe Road in Wappingers Falls and it's shaping up to be an amazing day! Dutchess County Executive William F.X. O’Neil said,
"Fall in the Hudson Valley means great views and cool nights and what better way to enjoy both than with live music, dancing, family fun, and delicious local food right next to the river at our own Bowdoin Park. Boots by the Bandshell is a fun, free way for families to spend time together and we encourage everyone to join us and spend the day dancing at the park. We are grateful to Townsquare Media Group for their ongoing support of this popular event.”
