Lauren Duski continues to prove herself as a force to be reckoned with on Season 12 of The Voice, giving an astounding performance of "Somewhere in My Broken Heart" by Billy Dean on Monday's (May 1) episode.

Duski's coach Blake Shelton selected the heartfelt track, as he felt it allowed her to show off "how beautiful her voice really is." He even dubbed her one of his favorite contestants he's ever worked with.

Mood lighting helped set the stage for the emotional ballad, which Duski delivered flawlessly. The Michigan-born singer knows how to sing a solemn song, hitting all the right notes while naturally delivering the melancholy. She offered just the right amount of heart and poignancy as she sang, "I hope that in time you will find what you long for love that's / Written in the stars and when you finally do / I think you'll see it's somewhere in my broken heart." Like fellow team Shelton teammate Aliyah Moulden, she warranted a standing ovation from her coach at the song's conclusion.

Duski received nothing but praise from judge Adam Levine, too — he predicts that she will be in the finale. "You just have what it takes and you do it effortlessly," he said, commending her. Her own coach was just as praiseworthy, calling her voice "special," "different" and saying it's "classic" while being unique to her, before calling her "important to country music."

"I'm running out of great things to say about Lauren," Shelton gushed. "We all realize you're a star."

If that wasn't exciting enough, it was also revealed that Lee Ann Womack tweeted at the singer after her Top 12 performance of "Lord, I Hope This Day is Good," calling her rendition "flawless."

The Voice Season 12 Top 10 finalists are announced on Tuesday (May 2).
