Kip Moore made a promise to fans that he'd put together an acoustic project, and now he's ready to deliver on that commitment. The country singer has announced the release of Room to Spare: The Acoustic Sessions, slated for Nov. 16.

The EP offers seven songs, with a stripped down version of the applauded "Plead the Fifth" from Moore's 2018 album Slowheart appearing alongside six songs that he has previously recorded, but never released.

Moore is a co-writer on five of the tracks, drawing in talent like Charlie Worsham, Natalie Hemby, Luke Dick and Blair Daly to collaborate on songs like "Tennessee Boy," "Love You to the Moon," "Part of Growing Up" and more. A song called "It Ain't California" was partially inspired by the passing of Tom Petty.

"This project has been really cathartic as it doesn’t have the pressures of a full record, and allows you to mix things up a little bit creatively, but also totally strip things down, too," Moore shares with American Songwriter

The "Last Shot" singer told the Boot in late summer that the acoustic album was finished and he was also working on two full-length records. "It's special to me. It's what the diehards have been asking for for a while. I heard their rally around it, so we're about to deliver," Moore said of the acoustic project.

He's also set to embark on an intimate four-city tour in support of the fan-driven album on the Room to Spare: Acoustic Tour where he'll travel to Milwaukee, Des Moines, Iowa, Emporia, Kansas and Akron, Ohio, throughout November and December. Moore's After the Sunburn Tour tour mate Jillian Jacqueline will also join him on the Room to Spare Tour, along with co-writing partner Worsham. The tour begins in Milwaukee on Nov. 29 and concludes in Akron on Dec. 8.

The album is available for preorder now.
