If you or someone you know is a fan of the TV show the "King of Queens" Friday March 12th, 2021 is a big day.

I've mentioned many times that my favorite sitcom TV show of all time is the King of Queens. It's one of those shows for me, that if its on I watch it, ever single time! When I was married so many people would tell me that I reminded them of the character on the show Doug Heffernan, and my wife at the time, was his wife Carrie. To this day my kids always mention some of the things that were said on the show from back in the early 2000's. The show followed the life of Doug and Carrie Heffernan, and of course her dad on the show Arthur, played by Jerry Stiller. It ran for 8 or so seasons in the late 90's and early 2000's on CBS.

So when I heard the news that they were planning on doing a special reunion of the cast of the show, I got super excited and Friday March 12th the premiere of the reunion is happening. The reunion isn't going to be a "pick up the story line" reunion, its going to be a table read of a classic episode in honor of the recently departed series star Jerry Stiller, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The reunion is being done to support, raise money and awareness to a cause near and dear to Stiller's heart, the Henry Street Settlement, which helps with social services, health care, and the arts. The settlement serves the Lower East Side and all of New York City.

As far as who's going to be a part of the reunion, all of our favorites will be there including, Kevin James (Doug Heffernan), Leah Remini (Carrie Heffernan), Victor Williams (Deacon Palmer), Gary Valentine (Danny Heffernan), Patton Oswalt (Spence Olchin), Nicole Sullivan (Holly Shumpert).

The reunion premieres on the King of Queens Facebook page at 11 a.m. Friday March 12th.
