Kelly Clarkson has enlisted her daughter, River Rose, to star in the superstar's new video for "Broken & Beautiful."

The uplifting anthem is part of the soundtrack to the new film UglyDolls, in which Clarkson also voices the character of Moxy. River Rose makes an adorable appearance near the beginning of the new video, helping her famous mom apply her makeup before a big concert performance.

She returns a bit later, giving Moxy a big smile as the animated character is trying to escape security backstage at Clarkson's show by riding a rolling cart. The video ends with Moxy joining Clarkson on stage to perform the song in front of the live audience, with River Rose beaming up at her as she descends from the rafters on a rope. The clip also features Clarkson and her precocious 4-year-old dancing joyfully back in the dressing room and intercuts footage from the film.

Pink teamed with Johnny McDaid, Marshmello and Steve Mac to write "Broken & Beautiful," and the pop anthem offers words of empowerment.

“I know I’m superwoman / I know I’m strong / I know I’ve got this cause I’ve had it all along / I’m phenomenal and I’m enough / I don’t need you to tell me who to be / can someone just hold me? / don’t fix me / don’t try to change a thing / can someone just know me / ’cause underneath I’m broken and it’s beautiful / I’m broken and it’s beautiful / I’m broken and it’s beautiful,” Clarkson sings in the uplifting chorus of the song.

That's in keeping with the overall theme of the movie, which is inspired by the popular toy brand of plush anime-style dolls that flip the idea of what constitutes "ugly" around, using the term to mean special and unique. Blake Shelton also appears in UglyDolls voicing the character of Ox, a light green rabbit-like creature with one eye who is the unofficial mayor of sorts for the town of Uglyville.

Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, also have a son named Remington Alexander who was born in April of 2016.
