It feels like every time you blink, there's an old movie being remade. Sometimes it's a great thing, like the upcoming Ghostbusters movie or it fails miserably..like the Dukes of Hazzard remake with Jessica Simpson. Yikes.

Well, on Wednesday Sony Pictures released their future schedule on Facebook. To say some people freaked out is an understatement. And unfortunately I don't mean freak out in a good, excited way. In the post, Sony Pictures says there will be a remake of the 1995 classic Jumanji  that starred the late Robin Williams.

Fans are in an uproar that the film would be remade without it's main character. Jumanji  was one of my favorite movies growing up, albeit a little scary( those monkey's scared me senseless), and I couldn't see it being made without Robin Williams. I feel it would loose a little bit of the story.

You know the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ? This is the perfect scenario...

Hopefully Sony takes the hint and leaves the Jumanji remake on the cutting room floor. Would you see the Jumanji 2016 edition? The movie is scheduled to hit theaters Christmas Day 2016.
