There is always something to do in the Hudson Valley. That is part of the fun of living here in the heart of New York where so many love to visit. Sometimes it is hard to settle on one event. The outdoor adventures never seem to end no matter how cold it gets or even if it snows. This weekend snow isn't in the forecast but fun and adventure is for you and your dog.

Mohonk Preserve has their annual Dog Days of Autumn Hike schedule for this Sunday, November 5th from 10am to 12noon. Open to children 10 years and up who are accompanied by a parent, all are welcome to bring your well behave dog on a short lease for a guided trip through the forest. Be sure to bring along enough water for you and your pet. The group will meet in Rosendale at the Binnewater Kiln parking lot. Andrew Bajardi Mohonk's Chief Ranger is the guide for this moderate 4 mile trek.
